Reorganization of the Experiment Station j of the

with the activities of their parent bodies and the introduction of educational reform methods along with improvements in physical equipment, so as, tq bring th
plans to a plane of higher efficiency, are pome of the
first matters to which the new head of the. University
is addressing himself with signal ability and signs already of achievement.
The Kernel publishes elsewhere accounts of outstanding action taken by the Board of Trustees, regretting at the same time, that space forbids publication
of complete reports, but enough, we believe, is here presented fqr consideration of both students and facalty,
with the abiding hope, that tfie dear old Alma Mater is
on the high road to greater achievement in behalf both
of the state and the material improvement of th? commonwealth.
On every hand it is apparent that the urgent neejcl
of the University at this time is money- and the Kernel
belieyes if the students going home for the holidays, will
lay these matters judiciously before their home representatives, in the. Kentucky Jisja.ture, and impress
them with the necessity of giving this University the
help it needs, much will be accomplished for- the insti.tu-- .
