i MICHIGAN CLUB.
  BY ]. EsT12N BOLLING, Secnermv.
_ It is with great pleasure that I convey to you this, the first official account
. of the Michigan Alumni Club of the University of Kentucky.
V After several get-together meetings for the purpose of preliminary discus-
. sion, the Club met on September 16, 1915, and adopted a formal constitution
- ¥ and by—laws.
gf The charter members are: H. E. Barth, ’15; ]. E. Bolling, ’15; ]. L.
,  Edelen, ’12; R. D. Puckett, ’15; H. F. Vogliotti, ,12; E. C. T. Blaker, ’14;
S ’`. Croan, ’I5; S. B. Mellen, ,15; H. B. Shoemaker, ,12; T. E. Warnock,
, 02, 03.
Za Further list of members includes E. C. Evans, ,02, ’o5, and G. C. Routt, of
 " Harrow, Ont., Canada.
ji, It is interesting to note that of the twelve present members, eleven are me-
; chanical engineers. Mr. Routt is with the Canadian Department of Agriculture,
Qi and though he resides thirty miles from Detroit, is a regular attendant.
A At the meeeting of September 16th, Mr. Warnock was elected President,
f Mr. Blaker, Vice President, and Mr. Bolling, Secretary-Treasurer.
Meetings are held the first Friday of the odd months at 212 Medbury Ave-
Zi nue, Detroit, at eight o’clock. Any Kentucky Alumnus is cordially invited,
. (nay, expected !), to attend when the opportunity offers. In the interims, Barth,
.4 Blaker, Bolling can be found at the same address, with a hearty welcome at all
. times.
We are at this time endeavoring to locate all alumni in or near Detroit, to
Q urge their aihliation. The splendid transportation facilities of the city and
Q its environs should permit the affiliation of alumni residing within fifty miles
{ of Detroit and this we hope to accomplish rapidly.
i The Club is, of course, always at the service of any alumnus, and when
Q you are in “the City where life’s worth living," be it upon business or pleasure
j bent, the Club’s hospitality and resources are at your command.
· Permit the writer to express the best wishes of each member for the
__ University as a whole and each alumnus individually.

` Alumni members of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees. Mr.
.._. Brown gave us a very interesting talk on the conditions at State.
 * Dr. H. L. Amoss has returned from his home where he attended the funeral
[ of his father. The sympathy of the members of the Club is extended to Dr. i
