·· _ College of Engineering. In addition to meeting the general ad-
d mission requirements of the University, outlined on the preceding
*» i pages, the applicant for admission to the freshman class of the
T College of Engineering must rank in the upper three-fourths on
the University classification tests. His high school credits must in-
g ~ clude one unit in plane geometry, one—half unit in solid geometry,
y and one and one-half units in algebra. If the student lacks only
the half unit in solid geometry, he may be admitted, but this sub-
ject will be added to the requirements of the freshman year.
College of Law—An applicant for admission to the College of
` Law must be at least eighteen years of age and must have, in ad-
5 dition to the standard high school course that will satisfy the general
` requirements for admission to the University, at least two years
of college credit (60 semester hours, at least 6 of which must be
3 in English and not more than 6 of which may be in non—theory
S courses). An academic standing of at least 1.3 or the equivalent
for all pre-law college work is required. While there is no pre-
3 scribed pre-law curriculum, the applicant’s record is evaluated in
terms of its relationship to the study of law, and in terms of the
1 ~ requirements of the Association of American Law Schools.
College of Education. In addition to meeting the general ad-
; mission requirements of the University, outlined on the preceding
pages the applicant, for admission to the freshman class of the
College of Education must rank in the upper three-fourths on the
_ University classification tests. In order to transfer to the College
1 of Education from another institution or from another college of
1 I the University, a student must have a standing of 1.0 or higher.
s College of Commerce. In addition to meeting the general ad- ‘
z mission requirements of the University, outlined on the preceding
r pages, the applicant for admission to the freshman class of the
t College of Commerce must rank in the upper three-fourths on the
E University classification tests.
' College of Pharmacy. Admission to this college is governed by
the general admission requirements of the University outlined on
the preceding pages.
- The Graduate School. A graduate of a fully accredited institu-
v 1 tion of higher learning may be admitted to the Graduate School ·
A upon evidence of graduation and an official transcript of under-
_ graduate courses. However, such admission does not obligate the
Z . University to accept all credit granted by the undergraduate school.
' When full credit is not granted, the student will be required to do
. more than the normal amount of work to complete a graduate de-
, gree. Applications from graduates of institutions not fully accred-
· 1ted will be individually evaluated.
