Scope and Content

This is a microfilmed collection of papers belonging to the Manning and Biggs families. Included are two letters written by a Confederate soldier held prisoner at Camp Douglas, Illinois. There are also a few letters from a soldier, written en route to Manila, the Philippines, in 1900. The remainder of the papers are wedding invitations.
