This admirable book, read and enjoyed by so many young people a gen-
eration ago and now partially forgotten, deserves to be brought to the aMten-
tion of parents in search of wholesome reading for their children to-day. It
is something more than a juvenile book,being really one of the most lustruc-
tive boiks about Norway and Norwegian life and manners ever written,
well deserving liberal illustration, and the luxury of good paper, print and
binding now given to it.
