             Biographical note 
             Dinsmore Steele and her husband Robert Steele built a house on Old Frankfort Pike, currently the residence for Fares Farm, in 1936 and 1937. To build the house they hired Warfield Gratz, one of the leading architects in Lexington from the 1930s to the 1960s.
