               MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMTITTEE
                 MEETING HFLD MIARCH 28, 1916.


          At a meeting of the Executive Committee of

TUniversit7 of Kentucky held at the President's Office

March 29, 1916, there were present P. P. Johnston, Jr.,

Frank McKee, C. B. Terrell, G. C. Brock and J. E. Brown.

On motion, Mr. Johnston was made chairman of the meeting.

Motion was made and seconded and upon yea and nee vote

unanimously carried that President Barker be and he is

authorized to sell and transfer the Printing outfit now

owned by the University to the Experiment Station- on

such terms as he deems best. It was suggested that a

movement would likely be put on foot to solicit

funds for the erection of a Y. 1t. C. A. Building upon the

University Campus. Utpon motion made and Unanimously

carried, the Committee heartily endorsed such a move-

ment and gave it all possible moral sunnort but on ac-

count of the financial condition of the University, it

is understood that the University will not contract any

indebtedness on account of said prorosed building.

            Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously car-

ried, Judge Barker, P. P. Johnston, Jr. and R. C. Stoll were

made a Committee to recommend at the next meeting of this

Committee a Budget for the next year setting forth the

prospective receipts and disbursements for the year.
            A motion was made, seconded and unanimously
