The basement (as yet in the main unfinished) is well lighted,  In smh
V and has splendid work rooms, all to be finished with concrete floors, _ mm
giving stability for precision measurements. There are two large rooms  
for laboratory purposes, a battery room, and a work shop. At present · Dm,
the shop contains the experimental switchboard, a motor (7% h. p.) ·
generator (5 kw. 125 v.), a smaller motor-generator, tanks for vacuum Y
and compressed air, a compression and exhaust pump driven by an  · mtg
electric motor. A two-wire circuit and a three-wire circuit (partly   mm
installed) will extend from the switchboard th-rough pipe conduits to   bw

- Physi0l0gy—The laboratory is provided with a Bausch and Lomb )-  mgi
incubator, miscroscopes, microtomes, paraffin bath, etc. Tables are  » °°“
provided for individual students. Each table is equipped with the i msc
apparatus necessary for experimental work in physiology. Students  
also have access to and use the kymograph, artificial circulation  ` CDH
scheme (Porters), capillary electrometer, artificial eye (Kuhne’s),  ., SOD
heart-holder, ergograph, rheochord, plethysmograph, etc. * 
The department is supplied with all kinds of models, such as Gy'
an Auxoux papier mache manikin, Auzoux’s models of the eye in full  ~
and in section, models of the ear, larynx, side of the face, hand, etc.,  T ap;
skeletons in full and in section; complete disa—rticulated skeletons for ,  dc;
the individual use of students; a spaced skull; a Thoma-Zeiss  . ap;
Haemacytometer; a Dudgeon’s and a Marey’s Sphygomograph; charts   roc
of all kinds, miscroscopes, etc. Miscroscopic slides are exhibited  {
