Jefferson Ison is general manager of the Lewis
Telephone Company and he informs me that the officers of
the telephone company are insisting s rongly on him cring-
ing suit against the Railroad Company and some of their
contractors for damage done to their line in “etcher County
Ky. at pleées where the line crossed the railroad and at
various olecee where they blasted stone on to the wire and
posts, breaking the wire and as I understand knocking down
some of the posts.

asked me to write this letter in order to see if the matter
might oe adJusted in any way without littigation.
