Mr. S. M. Wilson, Counsel,

Dear Sir:-
Please refer to your letter of the 2nd inst.
with enclosures relative to the case of George Godfrey
v. L&N RR 00., Perry Quarterly Court, in which plaintiff _
seeks to recover $24.75 for work performed by the plain-
tiff during the months of April and may,1916.
For your information I am enclosing herewith
Supt. Anderson's letter to me of the 25rd inst., with
notations thereon, from which you will see Godfrey did
earn $24.75 but that he boarded with the foreman while
so working, for which he was charged $11.70, leaving a
balance of $15.05 due plaintiff. I am enclosing here-
with draft in favor of Wootten & Morgan for $15.05 and
shall be glad if you will forward to them with the re—
quest that they explain the matter to plaintiff's attor-
ney and endeavor to have him accept the draft enclosed.
Yours truly,
