By 1897, Haggin had returned to Kentucky, where he purchased the Elmendorf Farm from Daniel Swigert. Expenses and distance forced him to close down the Rancho del Paso after he began operations at Elmendorf. Haggin had a mansion constructed at Elmendorf Farm. Adolf Wegner, the chief building engineer, oversaw the building of Green Hills Mansion at Elmendorf. Collection consists of 61 prints collected into an album.
