Major General Fitzhugh Lee (1835-1905) C.S.A.; later elected Governor of Virginia, Robert E. Lee's nephew, Fitzhugh Lee's greatest Civil War achievement was in the Battle of Chancellorsville where he led the only full brigade of Confederate cavalry, and guarded the Confederate's flanking march around Union General Hooker's exposed right wing. Former Confederate Major-General Fitzhugh Lee was also the consul-general of the United States to Havana, Cuba at the outbreak of the Spanish-American War.
