houses 350 students and contains a cafeteria seating 400 and several private

na] Erikson Home Economics Building. The offices, laboratories, and class-

Euclid Avenue Classroom Building. This building houses the office of the
[43 Department of Air Science of the Reserve Officers Training Corps, and classroom
facilities for the Department of Physical Education and the College of Com-

Faculty Club. Formerly the Patterson Home, this house is now occupied 4

Farm Service Building. This building houses the farm maintenance depart-
its ment, the animal nutrition laboratory, various storage rooms, and shops for

Fine Arts Building. This building houses the departments of Art, Music,

Freeman House. Temporary offices for the Medical Center staff are located

The W. D. Funkhouser Biological Sciences Building. This building houses
all the departments of Anatomy and Physiology, Bacteriology, Botany, and Zoology.
The Biological Sciences Library is also located here.
‘W Enoch Grehan Iournalism Building. This building houses the School of
l€» ]oumalism, the Kernel Press, The Kentucky Kernel, the Kentuckian, the central
*$· office of the Kentucky Press Association, and complete photographic facilities.
Z Hamilton House. This is a cooperative house for women students.
Health and Hygiene Building. This structure houses the University Health
al Service, the Department of Hygiene and Public Health, and the Infirmary.
`g Highway Materials Research Laboratory. This laboratory is jointly op-
eé erated by the Department of Civil Engineering and the State Department of
Highways.
ql Holmes Hall. This is a residence hall for women, activated in 1958. It l
gs houses approximately 300 students and contains a formal reception room, a
recreation room, and a sun deck.
lk I nsectary and Conservatory. This building is a greenhouse and laboratory
used by the Department of Entomology and Botany of the Experiment Station.
ES Iewell Hall. This is an addition to Boyd Hall, and is the third unit of the
residence halls for women housing approximately 137 students.
