- THE CALLALOO WRITERS SERIES
The Callaloo Writers Series will present readings by three authors "
during February, March and April. This event is funded with a grant
from the Kenmcky Humanities Council. It is hosted by Shiloh Baptist
Church, and assisted by the Lexington Education Success Center and the
Lexington Chapter of the NAACP. Authors, times and places are listed

FRIENDS OF THE LEXINGTON PUBLIC LIBRARY MEETING
The Friends of the Lexington Public Library will hold its annual
meeting on Saturday, February 19th, at the Radisson Hotel, Lexington,
` Kentucky. The speaker will be lee Pennington, a Kentucky author.
KENTUCKY COUNCIL ON ARCHIVES SPRING MEETING
  The Spring Meeting of the Kentucky Council on Archives will be held
  on April 15, l983, at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Kentucky.
_ The registration fee of $10.00 will include lunch.
The program will include two presentations on the Peal Collection:
"The W. Hugh Peal Collection: A Mu1ti—Image Presentation" by Bruce
