_ One gallon contains 642.2 grains of mineral matter X
(11.01 grams per liter) composed mainly of sodium chlo-
ride, magnesium sulphate and sodium sulphate with some
calcium carbonate and calcium sulphate, iron, silica, potassi-
vm sulphate and lithium carbonate.
This water should have strongly laxative properties.

Sent by B. F. Magruder of that place. Sample re-
ceived in September, 1911.

One gallon contains 57.7 grains of solid matter (.99 l
gram per liter) composed of sodium chloride, sodium car- `
bonate, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate and a little
calcium sulphate. There are traces of iron, silica, zinc,
potassium sulphate and sodium iodide.
It is an alkaline saline water.
