tneky during; 1948, based 011 the sale of guaranty tags, was 634,000
tons. This was 51,625 tons more than in 1947.
Tonnage of feed sold in Kentucky, as estimated from the number
of tax tags issued by ealendar years., beginning with 1940, was as
follows :

feed; 15,250 tons, stoek feed; 8,500 tons, dog feed; 140 tons, goat feed;
4,540 tons, nnineral feed; 174,155 tons, straight prodnets and by-
prodnetis; and 18,500 tons, miseellaneons feeds.
A summary of estimated sales by elass of feed is given in Table 1.
