About forty were united with different companies of the Sixth Regiment; the remaining private soldiers were transferred to other commands of all arms, and the officers resigned and went into the cavalry-service. It will be seen by a glance at the following names, and a reference to accounts of A and B, that some of the most excellent soldiers of the command were members of this company.
