This is a collection on microfilm of papers associated with the Farnsley family, of Louisville, Ky. Some of the letters are business letters written to Alexander P. Farnsley, including one written by the famous Kentucky emancipationist, Cassius M. Clay, in 1891. There are also letters to the family from James A. Farley, chairman of the Democratic National Campaign Committee. These letters date from the 1930's. Also included is an 1892-1893 school catalogue issued by Manual Training High School in Louisville, a balance sheet dated April 1935 for A. PH. Stitzel, Inc, of Louisville, and a brief family sketch copied from the FARMER'S HOME JOURNAL of Jan. 29, 1887, and another family sketch dictated by Judge B. H. Farnsley.
