Mile-High Connection
Dear Sir:
Please renew my subscription to the best basketball publication in the country. For many years now, I've eagerly awaited the weekly arrival of The Cats' Pause. Living in Denver for the last year and a half, I've been unable to get any UK basketball .games on radio (and believe me I've tried!).
The local newspapers focus their attention on the Big Eight and WAC conferences, so it's difficult to get any detailed information on college basketball played east of the Mississippi. Therefore. I am delighted to receive my TCP each week, and to be able to pour over the wealth of information it
contains.
1 think I speak for virtually all TCP subscribers when I say "keep up the great work!"
Here's hoping that UK will post six NCAA victories in '88 and claim its sixth NCAA title!
Sincerely,
Ted Campbell Denver, Colorado
(PSI'd appreciate it if you would pass on a warm "hello" to my dear friends in Frankfort, Ay., Bill and Millie Ayer, who I came to know many years ago when they responded to a letter of mine published in TCP.

If you're about to turn 18, if s time to register with Selective Service. Registration doesn't mean you're going to be drafted. It doesn't mean you have to give up any rights to determents Registration just gives Selective Service a list of names our country can draw from if there's ever a national emergency.
Here's how to register. Within a month of your 18th birthday, go down to the nearest U.S. Post Office. Pick up the simple registration form and fill it out Then hand it to the postal clerk. Thcrf s all there Is to it It only takes five minutes
