Played only two games in the 1991-92 season before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee and sitting out the rest of the season ... Underwent surgery, performed by New York Knicks team physician Norm Scott, and extensive rehabilitation ... Started playing pickup games again this past summer; should be ready in time for his junior season in eligibility ... Excellent three-point shooter... Hard-nosed player noted by the coaching staff for his hustle ... Best career game was at LSU in 1990, where he connected on seven three-pointers and scored 25 points while his family from Houston watched in the audience.

Started 22 games as a sophomore, averaging 8.1 points and 3.2 rebounds... One of the more frequent three-point shooters on the team, finished second in three-pointers made (46) and three-pointers attempted (147) ... Committed fewer turnovers (per minutes played) than anyone else on the team ... Named Player of the Game vs. Florida in Lexington; 15 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and one blocked shot...
