Dairy Club
The Dairy Club was founded on campus in 1933. Faculty advisors are Mr. Garland Bastin and Dr. T. R. Freeman. The purpose of the club is to promote interest in dairying and fellowship among students in dairy courses at the University and to prompt dairy judging teams.
Officers for the year were Joe W. Rust, president; Marcus Hopper, vice-president; Robert Herbst, secretary; Edward Fuchs, treasurer; John Wente, corresponding secretary.
This year the Dairy Club published an annual with Marcus Hopper as editor; Tros-per Combs, business manager; Edward Fuchs, circulation manager.
Among the other highlights of this year were the Homecoming Football breakfast, the Dairy Cattle Showmanship Contest, the Dairy Products Judging Contest, the Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, the Dairy Club Honor Banquet, and Our Honored Guest.
