Master announced the purpose of this called meeting was to confer
the Master Masons Degree upon five Brothers.

The candidates were then admitted. and the first section was

They were then requested to approach the East where they were
given the Tyler's Oath by C. 5. Mount, charge by Chester E. Meyer
and presented their aprons, Hietroy of Leximton Lodge E0. 1
and program of our 175th. Annivereery dinner and membership.
After which they were seated. in the North.

Thomas Horine reported to the lodge that the committee appointed
for Masonic Fraternal Day have all their plans made. This
meeting would be held at Lexington lErotting Tract on September
13, 1964, starting at 2300 P. 14., with Brother Herbert Sledd‘
our speaker and with all the other bodies participating. He
also reported that there was going to be some expense. that
all the other lodges in the District were going to pay on the
basis of ten cent per member and made a motion that Lexington
Lodge No. 1 spend not over $200., subject to the approval

of our Finance Committee. After being seconded the motion was
then carried.

Sick and distressed:

Don Freeman been in hospital, home now.
Wuard Harris been ill, home but can not have company.

E. G. Wilcoxen reported for his committee on plans for our new
building. He stated that they have been looking to: a tract and
have two or three in mind. However, Nothing has been done as of
now.

All visitors were requested to stand and entroduce themselves.

A letter was read from a Lodge in Florida regarding action that;

Jurisprudence committee for their action and to report back to
the lodge.

A letter was read from Ray R. flabors, District Deputy Grand
Master of District No. 25, thanking the lodge for their help

A letter was read from Joseph Robert Ware stating his dues cart
had been lost and requested a duplicate card. A motion was made
add seconded that a duplicate card be issued. Motion carried.

Master Sacra announced we would have our Past Masters Night on
October 26, 1964. This to be a dinner meeting at Imperial House

A letter was read by Master Sacra from Wilburn House submitting
his regignation as Secretary of Lexington Lodge No. 1, effective
as of October 19, 196k. stating that due to his many other duties
he was forced to do this. A request was also made that an audit
be made as of this date. A motion was made, duly seconded that
this resignation be accepted. Motion carried. Master Sacra
then appointed Brother Johns E. Hawkins to fill out the term

for the year as Secretary.

in memory of Brother Orton.

The newly raised brothers were then requested to approach the east where
they were given the tilers oath by Charles Mount .The charge was the given by
Chester Meyer.Master Sacra congratuled the new brothers and seated them in
the north and asked for any response...several expressed their thanks and
appreciation .

Master Sacra thanked the degree team as well as a past masters who
helped confler the work during the day.All those present were introduced to
the craft present.

The death of Jack Parker was announced to the lodge.

All visitors were requested to stand and introduce themselves...five
present.

There being no further business to come before the lodge, lodge was
closed in form at 9:10 P.M. ’

Remarks were again made by several brothers as to
the very fine job that Brother House had rendered as
the secretary of the lodge. The lodge will be ever
grateful to this fine brother for his untiring services.

was then given by Boother E.B? Cochran.Brother William Marlowe explained
the letter G and the brothers were then seated in the north.

9:35 p.m. closed in form on the F.C. degree.

9:40 p.m. called from refreshment to labor on the Master Masons
degree. Master Sacra congratulated the brothers for the fine work
just conferred. Brother Cochran gave the staircase lecture for the first
tiemand did a very fine job.

There being no further business the lodge was closed in form at
9:52 pm.m.

Brother Wilburn House for the period August 1, 1964 through
October 26, 1964 and find them to be accurate in all respects.
This examination was made in accordance with generally
accepted auditing standards and accordingly included such
tests and auditing procedures as I considered necessary in
the circumstances.

On the above date, October 26, 1964, all the records of
the Secretary were accordingly turned over to me.
