Since 1943 the Kentuckians have
racked up seven straight homecoming opponents and no doubt
they will be shooting to pocket the
Owls as number eight.
The Cats last disappointed their
alumni Nov. 22. 1947 when they
lost to "you guess who?". Tennesalsee dropped the Wildcats, 13-though the Kentuckians had gotten off to a 0 lead on a TD pass
from George Blanda to Jack Far-ri- s.
It was Bear BryanVs second
year and the year that Kentucky
went to its first bowl game (Great
