      Said resolution was seconded by Mr. Carpenter, put upon
its passage and carried.





     President Patterson offered the following resolution:-
     Resolved that $500.00 be appropriated for the purpose of
erecting a building necessary for instruction in anatomy in
the A. & M. College of Kentucky, in fulfillment of the arrange-
ment effected with the physicians of the City of Lexington
and Fayette County, recorded in the minutes of the Board of
Trustees of June, 1906.


     Said motion was seconded by Judge Kinkead and placed upon P.126
its passage, and upon roll-call the vote stood as follows:-

     Ayes:- Messrs. Hopkins, Mc~hord, Nicholas, Frazee, Kinkead,
Lafferty, Metcalfe, Terrell, Patterson, and Carpenter    10

     Noes - None

     The resolution was carried unanimously.





     President Patterson presented a statement prom Prof. Tuttle,
Dean of the Department. of Chemistry, stating the conditions and
needs of the department and asking for the following appropria-
tions: $2,000 to purchase the nucleus of a chemical library;
$600 to procure the necessary bottles and laboratory test tubes;
and for the equipment necessary for teaching organic chemistry
$1000.


     Thereupon President Patterson offered the following reso-
lution:
     Resolved thatthere be appropriated for the purpose of buy-
ing a chemical library the sum of $1,000; for re-agent bottles
$600; and-fa-r equipment in organic chemistry the sum of $1,000.
