She was part of the 5th Ferrying Group, stationed at Love Field, Dallas, Texas.This is a collection of military records and memorabilia related to Engle's service as a W.A.S.P. during World War II. Included are her operations orders and flight records dating from September, 1943 to December, 1944, which document her travel and delivery of planes for the Army Air Corps; miscellaneous training papers; and printed materials, including the W.A.S.P.
