PITINO ON SHEPPARD
"Jeff Sheppard is someone who has sacrificed himself for our basketball team. He never complained and always put team before himself. Now he deserves to redshirt, sit out, and develop his point guard skills so he can go to the next level. We'll make that decision Nov. 14."
