ACTS Education Committee Continues its Tours _
The ACTS Education Committee is sponsoring two tours of the
Interlibrary Loan Dept. on February l5th and 16th, 1979. Both
tours will be at 2:00. The Interlibrary Loan Dept. is located
on the 5th floor of King South. To sign up please call Nancy

Japanese Papermaking at the University of Kentucky
The Art of Japanese papermaking will be explored via demon-
stration, lecture, and workshop at the King Library Press, ‘
M.I. King North on the University of Kentucky campus from
l—5 pm, Friday, February 23. ~
Timothy Barrett who studied the art in Japan for two years
under a Fulbright will be conducting the events. Mr. Barrett
worked with Kathryn and Howard Clark at the Twinrocker . '
Hankmade Paper_Mill, and assisted in making custom papers
for Jasper Johns, Robert Motherwell, and Claus Oldenburg. V
Currently he is conducting research under a National Endowment
for the Arts grant and working on a book to be published by
A Henry Morris of the_Bird & Bull Press. .
The fee for the afternoon is $l0.00 and reservations are
