ABBEY OF G ETHSEMANI

TRAPPI ST. KENTUCKY

Dec. h, 1963

Dear Carolyn:

Jubilee has run off offprints in the past, on occasion, but they have
supp not done so recently. They might provide extra copies, but on the other
hand if the Shakertown committee is sufficiently interested to share in the
expense, he might do it On this occasion. T would be glad if he did, as T
could use a few myself. Why not have someone write to him from there, and T
will also mention it in my next letter to him. The article is to annear in
the anuary issue so there is not much time. qome of my nhotorraohs of
Pleasant Bill will be with the article.

thite to:

Edward Rice, Jubilee, 169 East 9lst St., New York 99.

bertainly I have no objection to cepies being made of this. T can return

the text you sent me if they want to copy it there. 100 bad T did not mimeogranh
it here, but now we are in the Christmas cheese rush and T can't detach anyone
from the crew to do this job at the moment. Tf they want to mimeograph it they
are perfectly welcome to. That might be a solution if Dice does not want to

make offprints, though that would be better as pictures would be included.

Yes, your last visit was so pleasant and the conditions were so fine.
When will you come again? When can we plan on so nice a day? January is
variable, but we might risk it. The only time so far that would be excluded
would be from the 18th to the 25th when we are "on retreat". Do let me know.
And let me know if you want the dhakertown mss back for someone to copy in

exington. I have still another copy here, so T will not be inconvenienced
in any way.

The Itesurrection painting sounds exciting. A great idea and T am very
happy about it. May it prosper. All my best wishes to you and Victor.

“ordially yours in Christ,

701/14.
