"General" is a worthy representative of the illustrious family of Park. He is so unassuming you would never suspect that he could take a fall out of a complicated steam "lab" or manage a football team. Smith's favorite song is "Columbia, the Gem of the Ocean." We hope she gets through going to school up in New York, because he hasn't looked happy once since she left. We never mention names, but if we were poetical and happened to take a fancy

Here's a man with a record. Twice he has been the recipient of important positions in the history of the Class of '20, and the same number of times he has discharged his duties in a most creditable manner. Ed went to the farm in March lo help combat the high cost of living. His success in overalls is assured, and some day he may take unto himselfetc.but we wonder? We do know that she will be exceedingly fortunate.
Martha Hutchison Pollitt, A.B...............Vanceburg
Y. W. C. A.; Cabinet (4); Blue Ridge Delegate Club; Student Government Council.

Martha has been preceded by two other brilliant sisters. Yes, Caesar, Crassus, and Pompey made the first triumvirate. Martha completes a triprobably less important historically, but not mentally. Aesthetic dancing, Y. W. C. A., and Vanceburg are her characteristics, especially the former. Her scholarship has been fairly consistent with the family record. She was "Belgium" in last year's Pageant, and when she finishes school she expects to teach in Cuba or Portugal. Ain't dat awful?
