     Thereupon Judge Kinkead moved as a substitute for the
original motion, just voted to be reconsidered, that Prof. Wil-
son be raised to the rank of full professor of Electrical En-
gineering, with the ermioluments thereto attached. Said motion
was seconded by Mr. Terrell, and out upon its passage and upon
roll-call the vote stood as follows:-

     Ayes:- Messrs. Frazee, Terrell, Patterson, Metcalfe,
Nicholas, Carpenter, Broolk.s, McChord, Hopkins, Kinkead, Clay,
Stout ---   12

     Noes-   None

     The motion was carried.






     Mr. Terrell moved that the Board of Control of the Girls'
Dormitory use such a. sum as will be necessary for the purpose
of ornamentation of the parlors of the Girl's Dormitory.   Said
motion was seconded by Judge Kinkead, put upon its passage
and carried.






     The Committee on Appropriations, through Mr. Brooks, made a
verbal report recommending that appropriations be made in ac-
cordance with the budget reported by the President with the
modifications ordered by the Board, and that the persons there-
in named be employed for the ensuing year, with said exceptions:-
