Biography/History

Playreaders was an organization established in January, 1941 by Grace Snodgrass (Lexington, Ky.) for the purpose of enjoying and promoting the reading of plays and portions of plays within a group who shared mutual interests.

Scope and Content

The majority of the scrapbook contains typed portions of plays. In addition to the plays within the scrapbook, there are also photographs, correspondence, newsletters, minutes and programs.
