3.231    Any student organization which wishes to use the University of
          Kentucky's name, [University] facilities, or property, or to
          solicit thereon, must complete the registration form available
          in the Office of the Dean of Students.

3.232     [Its] The registration of any student organization is at the dis-
          cretion of the Dean of Students and is dependent upon the com-
          pletion of the required application form and compliance with the
          rules and additional criteria the Dean may set forth. Such
          criteria shall be established and published by the Dean and
          made uniform for all similar types of organizations. The Dean
          may limit [its] an organization's registration, with its con-
          comitant permission, to a fixed period of time, the length to
          be determined at the Dean's discretion.

3.233     Student organizations must be registered before they may use
          University facilities or property. The Dean of Students with
          the approval of the President, shall promulgate regulations
          governing the use of University facilities by registered stu-
          dent organizations[.]  (See A.R.il - 7.0-2).  These regulations
          shall specify the times when facilities and premises are avail-
          able for use, the manner in which they may be used, and how
          they may be reserved.

3.241     d.   Every political organization shall have a University
               advisor elected by the membership[,] or, failing that,
               appointed by the Dean of Students as well as a faculty
               advisor elected by the membership.

3.242     b.   Faculty Advisor:  a member of the faculty of the University
               connected with or interested in the organization, who shall
               offer support and advice to the officers in carrying out the
               purposes of the organization, and shall [make himself/herself]
               be available to meet with members of the organization at their
               regular meetings or at a special meeting called for that
               purpose.

               A non-tenured faculty member shall not advise more than one
               registered student organization; a tenured faculty membert,
               however, shall not have any specific restrictions on the number
               of registered student organizations which he/she may advise at
               any one time.] may advise any number of registered student
               organizations at any one time.

          c.   Sponsor:  a responsible adult interested in the purposes of the
               organization who shall give guidance and counsel to the
               officers in carrying out the purposes of the organization and
               shall [make himself/herself) be available to meet with the
               members of the organization at their regular meetings.
