SESSIONS—DIRECTIONS TO STUDENTS.
i The collegiate year is divided into two sessions of five
months each, the Hrst of which begins on the second Mon-
  day.of September, 1879, and ends on the 26th of january,
._ 1880. The second session begins on the last Monday of
january, 1880, and ends on the second Wednesday of june
of the same year. It is earnestly recommended that candi-
dates for admission present themselves some days before the St
· opening ofthe session, that they may be examined and clas— '
sified, and that arrangements for board and lodging be made, l
before the classes begin the work of the year.
Students, on arrival in Lexington, will report at once to
the President, at \xVoodlands. In order to avoid unneces-
- sary expense, facilities will be offered by the club for the
  temporary accommodations of students who are strangers.
