Shaler Geological Society.
The Geological Society met last
Monday evening in the science building! James Hudnall made a talk on
the oil fields of Kentucky. Mr. Hudnall spent last summer in the oil fields
of Lee and Estill counties. While
there he gained a great amount of valuable information and also had many
Interesting experiences which he related at the meeting.
The society elected Mr. Hudnall as
delegate to the annual meeting of the
American. Association for the Advancement of Science at St. Louis the
last of this month.
Shaler Geological Society.
At the meeting of the Shaler Geological Society Monday night
Miller read a list of names of
graduates from the Department of
Geology who are to be made, honorary
members of the society. All these
men have done work in the field of
Geology and have been very success--fu- l
in a business way.
