Scope and Content

This is a ledger containing records of two central Kentucky businesses in the mid-nineteenth century. The first part of the ledger contains the records of an unidentified general store in Nicholasville in 1849. The remainder is a record of milling accounts kept by James Mitchum Graves, of Versailles, Ky. from 1873 to 1877.
