4th Went to Thos W Powells I wrote a deed from him to
John H Jacobs for the Bruse Field I Bought of hixn Sixteen Head
of Cattle at $21 Per Head Amt to
5th Went to Henderson to day in company with John H Jacobs &c
6th Went to Thos W Powells I Paid him $100 on the Cattle I
had Bought of Him
7th Went to Joseph Griffins this morning and from there to
John Vickers where I got my dinner Came home to Church meeting
in the evening but the preacher did not Come
Sth Sunday I rode down in the Bottom this Morning but Came back
in time for preaching Elder Fallan Preached I was also at Sunday
School in the evening
i 9th About the Farm &c this morning Went to J H Jacobs in the
evening
10th I went down to act as processioner this morning for Thomas
W Powell in the Bottom He sold his land to H P Randolph and we got
out of the job of Surveying
11th I Drove the Cattle I had bought from Powell home this morning &c ‘
12th I went to the Anderson Farm this Morning in Company with
J H Jacobs & James T Lilly I moi sold Lilly 14000 shingles at $4

L L Bently in the evening in Company with L L Hancock I found him
quite sick but much Better than had been reported
