WILDCATS FEATURED FIVE TIMES ON SEC TV SERIES
For the second consecutive year, the Kentucky Wildcats will be seen five times on the Southeastern Conference Television series, which enters its 15th season. In addition, two of the Cats' games. Notre Dame and South Carolina, will be shown nationally.
TVS Television Network of New York City will produce the regular Saturday games for the 15th year, while the Monday series enters its second year under Doug Layton Productions of Birmingham.
The Wildcats open both series - Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Florida and Saturday, Jan. 6 when they host LSU. The Wildcats also are seen on Monday's Feb. 12 vs. Miss. State and Feb. 19 at Georgia, and Saturday, Feb. 10 vs. Alabama.
Kentucky has won 35 and lost only 16, for a 68.5 win percentage during the past 14-years. The year-by-year breakdown; Won one of three games in '65, three of four in '66, two of four in both '67 and '68. three of five in '69, all four in '70, three of four in '71, two of three in both '72 and '73. one of three in '74, all three in '75, two of three in both '76 and '77 and all five in '78.
