(Kentucky's home floor winning streak started against Ft. Knox on Jan. 4, 1943, following a loss to Ohio State two nights earlier. Before Ga. Tech snapped the string, the Wildcats had posted a national record 129 consecutive victories. All told, since the Ohio State loss, the Wildcats have won 418 and lost only 40 at home. The record in Memorial Coliseum (1951-1976) was 306-38. Since Rupp Arena became the home floor in 1976-77, the record is 28-2.
