In talks by faculty members and student leaders, the Ireslmien were given academic and social information about the University. The camp was co-sponsored by the YMCA as part of its Coed Y program.
The Y\Y Cabinet serves as a nucleus, co-ordinating activities "I over ten diversified committees, each of which is designed to meet the personal needs of its members.
I he interest groups run the gamut from religious discussions In party planning, and the Y\V as a whole participates annually in the World University Service, Career Carnival, Hanging ol the Greens, and a Christinas party For underprivileged children.
\ trip In the United Nations in New York Citv is sponsored jointly by the Y\l and Y\Y. The Y\V works in an advisory capacity with the Cosmopolitan Club for Foreign students and the Dutch Lunch Club for Lexington girls.
Since August, YWCA has had a new director, Miss Sondra Search.
