REMEMBERED

Tuesday nt n meeting of tho Junior
class, which was as usual attended by
tho same loyal few, Bomo drastic measures wero adopted that nro hoped to
help tntf collection of class dues. Unless $300 is collected by May 1 the
Junior Prom will be called off and the
class will go down in tho history of
tho University an tho only Junior class
failing to entertain tho Seniors since
tho custom was established hero.
It behooves ovory Junior to do his or
her part toward provcntlng Buch a disgrace befalling thodr class, and regard-los- s
of whether they are to recolvo direct benefit or pleasure from tho
dance, they owe it to the class ns a
matter of spirit to do their share in
making tho Prom a success.
A vigorous campaign is to be waged
this week by the treasurer and his assistants and all Juniors are warned to
havo their dues ready when first asked
for them, for "persistence" 4s the
motto of the campaign and all those
who have not paid up aro going to be
worried unitil they "fork over" tho five
"sheckles." Those in charge of the
campaign
are:
Arthur Shanklin,
treasurer; Burton Prewitt, Walter
Morris, Henry Sullivan, John Crenshaw, Elizabeth Kimbrough, Margaret
Harbison and Margaret Smith.
It's mighty hard for them to locate
ovory Junior and then "load pipe" their
victim after he is found and. remove
