PRE-DENTAL COURSE  
Students who wish to take up the study of dentistry are advised to 1
follow the two year’s Pre-Medical Course. This course more than meets
the pre—dental requirements which have been specified by the Dental Edu- "
cation Council of America. With the two years’ course, entrance may be J
gained to all Class A dental schools with the exception of a very few which  — GC

The courses offered by the Department are prepared with the purpose  
of making them of educational value and at the same time, providing a  » (1

' Students who plan to spend more than two years in the University may extend  1
the required subjects into the third or fourth years and thus make room for Social .
Science and other art courses in the Lower Division. M
Two years of Foreign Language in college are recommended, or the equivalent in »
high school, although a few medical schools require none or only one year. If the `
student is a candidate for the A.B. or B,S., he will be required to pass a proficiency , D3
examination on G semester hours of a foreign language. ·E
Math. 17 and 18 are advised and should be taken sometime during the freshman i pr
year.  
*f Students required to take physical education will enroll each semester until the ,
physical fitness standard is completed. This requirement may be satisfied in one or . m
