The curriculum in Medical Technology. · _ is prescribed throughout and leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. This course is designed to prepare men and women ; for positions in hospital laboratories, physicians’ and surgeons’ clinics, and ' ° federal, state, and municipal public health laboratories, and to fit the ` . especially adapted student for either commercial or research laboratory l T work in bacteriology. It also meets all the requirements of the United States. ; . Civil Service Commission for Bacteriologists. V. The University of Kentucky, in affiliation with the Good Samaritan X Hospital, is registered, through the Department of Bacteriology, as an ap- _ proved school for the trainin of medical technologists b the Board of .- _ E Y ‘ Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and by the Coun- cil on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Associa- - f tion.
