 · The Degree of B.S. in Medical Technology
»  ` The Department of Bacteriology affords opportunity for students to
gain the A.B. or B.S. degree with bacteriology as a major, and also provides
_ V a curriculum in Medical Technology. The curriculum in Medical Technology.
· _ is prescribed throughout and leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science in
Medical Technology. This course is designed to prepare men and women
; for positions in hospital laboratories, physicians’ and surgeons’ clinics, and
'  ° federal, state, and municipal public health laboratories, and to fit the `
. especially adapted student for either commercial or research laboratory
l T work in bacteriology. It also meets all the requirements of the United States.

X Hospital, is registered, through the Department of Bacteriology, as an ap-
_ proved school for the trainin of medical technologists b the Board of .-

‘ Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and by the Coun-
cil on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Associa-

Graduates of this course who may desire to enter medical school will
- have all the requirements of the American Medical Association and the As-
» sociation of American Medical Colleges for entrance to all Class A medical.
O schools, provided they have a reading knowledge of a foreign language.
