Kristen H. Perry (Lesotho, 1999-2001; Education) discusses growing up in Nebraska, teaching elementary school in Denver, Colorado, and going to Lesotho to work as a primary resource teacher. She describes training, her work, and school discipline. Perry also talks about cultural differences in gender roles, her living situation, and her counterpart friends. In addition, she describes what it was like to live right on the border of South Africa and to be overseas during 9/11.
