Tea For Senior Girls
The senior girls of Transylvania
College and of the University were
guests at a delightful tea given, Saturday afternoon at the home of Miss
Frances Jewell on Ashland avenuf.-- . hy
the Central Kentucky Branch of the
American Association of University
"Women.

The homo was lovely with spring
flowers. ,Russian punch and sandwiches were served. Miss Ann Oar-nepresided at tho punch howl.
Short talks were made hy Alias
Mable Pollitt, the retiring president,
Hiss Ann Garnett, the president-elect- ,
Miss Alary Clarke and Aliss Jewell.
About 150 were present.

The girls
tained with a charming tea dance
Saturday afternoon from 3 to 0 in the
recreation room of Patterson Hall.
The room was attractively decorated
with flowers and with green foliage.
Fruit frappe was served throughout
the afternoon.
