Leaves of Absence

     Shelby T. McCloy, Professor of History, granted sabbatical
leave of absence for the academic year 1951-52, in order that he
may complete a piece of research on "French Scientific Develop-
ment in the Eighteenth Century."

     Charles Snow, Professor of Anthropology, granted sabbatical
leave for the summer term, 1951, in order that he may undertake a
project at Harvard University.

     Dord E. Fitz, Assistant Professor of Art, granted a leave of ab-
sence for the summer term, 1951  Mr. Fitz expects to go to Mexico
to continue his study of painting0

     Aimo Kiviniemi, Assistant Professor, Department of Music, grant-
ed an extension of his leave of absence March 1, 1951, through the
remainder of the semester0

     T. M. Hahn, Jr., Associate Professor of Physics, granted a leave
of absence for the months of July and August, 1951, in order that he
may participate in summer research, Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

     Blaine W. Schick, Assistant Professor, Department of Romance
Languages, granted a leave of absence for the fall semester, 1951-
52, in order that he may complete work on his doctorts degree.

     Laura K. Martin, Associate Professor, Department of Library Sci-
ence, granted a leave of absence for two months, effective July 1,
1951,  Miss Martin wishes to teach in the summer session of the
University of Denver.
