MINUTES OF EfE BOARD OF TRUSTEES



     Mr.0 Edelen moved that the blanks in said resolution be filled by the insertion

 of the word "tbree " before the word t1trustees:

      Said motion being duly seconded, was unanimously carried.





      Motion was made and seconded that Mr. Alexander$ Treasurer of the University,

Mr. Edelen and Governor Cox be appointed trustees of the Peabody Fund.

     Said motion was unanimously carried.





     The following resolution was adopted by ths Board:

         "The Board of Trustees regrets very much the unfortunate developments in

the Athletic situation at the University but heartily concurs in and cnfirms the

action of the President and Executive Committee in having taken prompt action in in-

vestigating the cause of the Athletic distrubances and the burning of Professor

Anderson's office, and now strongly urges the President and the Executive Committee

to continue to leave no stone unturned until the guilt and the motive of the distur-

bances are fully established, and they are hereby directed to report their final

findings at an adjourned meeting to be called by President Barker't?




     The Board then adjourned to meet at the Phoenix Hotel at 4 o'clock.





     Met pursuant to adjournment at the Phoaniz Hotel, and came Mr. Younger Alexander,

who had been elected as -Treasurer of the University1 and offered his bond as such,

which is here recorded as follows:
