Biography/History

William H. Ewing lived in Logan County, Kentucky, in the early 19th century and was involved in the operation of a tannery.

The William H. Ewing ledger consists of inventories of hides and leathers sold by year. The name William H. Ewing is found on the outside front cover and the inside front cover along with the name Thomas P. Anderson. Logan County and Butler County is inscribed on the back inside cover.
