the past three years. He recommended that these gifts be accepted and used
for the purposes indicated, and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried,
the checks were authorized accepted, and the President was requested to
thank Mr. Weil.



                                     From: Mr. Philip Sang, River Forest,
                                         Illinois--$ 1, 601. 07.

      President Dickey told the Board that Mr. Philip Sang, River Forest,
Illinois, had given to the University the proceeds from 50 shares of stock of
Spiegel, Inc. , amounting to $1, 601. 07, and stated that the art objects which
will be bought with the gift will contribute much to the enrichment of the Uni-
versity? s educational atmosphere.  He recommended that the gift be accepted,
and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board concurred in
the recommendation and asked the President to convey to Mr. Sang their
appreciation.



                                     From: Kentucky Retail Farm Equipment
                                         Association, Louisville,Ky. --$200. 00.

      The President presented a check for $200. 00 received from the Ken-
tucky Retail Farm Equipment Association to be used to furnish a scholarship
to an agricultural engineering student. He recommended that this be accepted,
and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the check for $200. 00 was
authorized accepted, and the President was requested to thank the Association,



                                    From: Mr. David Bolotin, Lexington, Ky.
                                         - - $200. 00.

     President Dickey reported that Mr. David Bolotin had given to the Jay
Weil Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University his check for $200. 00, and
recommended that the check be accepted.

     Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the gift was ordered
accepted, and the President was requested to thank Mr. Bolotin for his generosity.



                                    From: Sealtest Foods Corporation, Louis-
                                         ville, Ky. --$200. 00.

     The President stated that the University had received check for $200. 00
from the Sealtest Foods Corporation, to be awarded to a Dairy Science student
beginning with the fall term in September 1960. He recommended that the
check be accepted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board
concurred in the recommendation and asked that he express the appreciation of
the members to the Sealtest Foods Corporation.
