                                        Study Equipment Unit with Accessories.

      President Dickey stated that the Pan American Petroleum Corporation of
 Tulsa, Oklahoma, had donated to the Department of Chemistry of the University
 of Kentucky a Magne-tic Susceptibility Balance and an Infrared Catalyst Study
 Equipment Unit with accessories.  He stated that this gift would be of great
 value to the Department of Chemistry and recommended that it be accepted.

      Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the gift was ordered ac-
cepted, and the President was requested to thank the donors.




      S. Appointments and Other Staff Changes.

      President Dickey submitted staff appointments, reappointments, salary
adjustments, leaves of absence, resignations, promotions and other staff changes
requested by deans and heads of departments.
